Resembling the unthinking functionality of a robot, I find myself typing the key words in the Google toolbar the minute I have to search for something. Well, I take pride to be a part of the ‘Google Generation’!! I keep stumbling upon numerous websites - few I like, few I spike. When I come across a website which I like, I add it as a favorite. And few which I forget to add…well, with so many things to remember, I can not always vouch on my memory. I keep organizing my favorite list by categories but what if I have to visit one of my favorites from some other pc? My favorites are stored on my laptop, right.
As I was stumbling through various ways to track my numerous stumbled-upon websites, I stumble upon ‘StumbleUpon’. Whoa! This is a neat website. An online repository for all my 'stumbled-upon' websites!
Personally, I like to explore new websites of my interests. This website has various categories which help me explore numerous websites which I thought even ever existed. I can review and add comments too. It’s also a great website to know other stumblers who share the same interest as me.
Once I download the StumbleUpon toolbar, I am on the go. I give a website a 'thumbs up' if I like it. Don't like it? I give a 'thumbs down'. All my ‘thumbs up’ websites are listed under Favorites on the StumbleUpon website. To view them wherever and whenever I want to, I just need to log on. It’s that easy!
Now, with the new release, one can also add a Stumble It! button on their website or blog and allow other people to add your content to StumbleUpon. I can’t wait to add it on my blog.
StumbleUpon was ranked 2nd by Time Magazine in 2007. With over 6 million users contributing to over 35000 stumbles per month, it’s a like diving in the World Wide Web ocean.
2 thumbs up from me!
Go ahead and enjoy the stumbling experience of discovering great websites!
