Wise men say...only fools rush in when sending their goofiest mail without sleeping over it. Thus while you are still wearing your beer goggles, Google's Mail Goggle come to your rescue. You will not have to regret sending an email which you will make you 'whoops' again. Just enable the Mail Goggle and jog your mind over a series of simple-yet-complex-for-drunken-mind objective questions before hitting the send button. It probably shakes your brain to reality...
The Official Gmail Blog states "When you enable Mail Goggles, it will check that you're really sure you want to send that late night Friday e-mail. And what better way to check than by making you solve a few simple math problems after you click send to verify you're in the right state of mind? By default, Mail Goggles is only active late night on the weekend, as that is the time you're most likely to need it. Once enabled, you can adjust when it's active in the General settings."
If you are still wondering if this is for real, you need to enable the Gmail labs for your account. It's one of the lab items.
Therefore, just as other alcohol beverage companies ask you to drink responsibly, here's Gmail saying 'Mail responsibly!'
BTW, how about having a tongue twister game, instead of a math problem? ;)

Instead of math why not make it three questions you put in yourself some of us are dysgraphic and dyslexic which makes math and spelling too much of a challenge to use this nice little device
If you put your questions, you would know the answers even unconsciously...!
