Is my understanding correct...?

Two months into the courtship period and the highlights are: lack of communication, fear of losing freedom, want of a distant relationship, feeling of Intimidation, feeling of disconnect, absense of an emotional bonding.

Are my expectations too high or am I reading too much...??

Well, yes, I might be reading a little much because as soon as we entered our courtship phase, there were signs which meant that he wanted to talk to me any time of day, texted me just to say do not be sad, wanted to meet me despite of the fact that we could'nt (being in different cities) and ofcourse we had our initial tiffs. But doesnt every relationship have their hiccups?

A 'normal' courtship period should not necessarily mean long conversations over phone, numerous texts and never-ending chats. Neither should it be like owning a person or demonstrating possessivess which causes suffocation. However, communication is the key to unlock any relationship and enter the whole-new world of knowing each other. There are so many things to unveil about ourselves, dreams to share and funny stories. Ofcourse, initially the coversation can waver from wooing to war of words however communication should still continue.

A tiff is a sign of a healthy relationship because both the people interpret and perceives situations differently.

Women like to talk when they are upset. Men like to think when they have problems on their mind. Men are all the more complicated because of their so-called complex way of understanding their own problems. They do not like what-are-you-thinking questions... :). Therefore, instead of repeatedly asking, we should probably let them come to us if and when he needs to discuss it.

When a man is in the dumps, he'll withdraw from everything and everyone. For a woman, this seems to be an opportunity for emotional bonding. Man's silence makes her feel that he is shutting her out. Probably, he does not want you to see his insecurities want you to worry.

I can comprehend so many things from my relationship during my courtship period. I can still say that its easier said than done. As for me, a short call from him would be the only bright spot in my whole day. How I wish...!!
